6 South Florida Events Coming up This Fall

Happy September! With the official summer season coming to an end in the next few weeks, fall festivals and activities are at last upon us. While we don’t receive the typical crisp fall air that many northern cities get, fall in south Florida means the nights are becoming cooler and the high temperatures during the day will--hopefully--not surpass the 80s! Coupled with the end of hurricane season, this makes it the perfect time to check out many of these outdoor events. The fall and winter seasons bring an overwhelming amount of holidays and festivities, so that’s why we’ve brought you this blog post to cut through the noise and give you the highlights. 

Flavor Palm Beach

When: September 1-31

Where: The Palm Beaches

What: It’s restaurant month in Palm Beach County! During the whole month of September, participating restaurants are put on display through pre-made menus showcasing a wide variety of flavors and cuisines for a lower set price. It’s great if you’re looking to try out new restaurants or get personalized recommendations on what to eat by the chefs themselves!

Miami Spice 

When: August 1 - September 30

Where: Miami

What: Similar to the Flavor Palm Beach Restaurant Month we mentioned above, Miami has it’s very own restaurant month called “Miami Spice” (get it?) showcasing famous restaurants and creations by world-renowned chefs. With three-course meals being served at unbeatable prices, now is the perfect time to explore the Miami food scene. 

26th Annual Downtown Delray Beach Craft Fair

When: September 11-12

Where: Delray Beach

What: Unique, handmade art pieces, furniture, jewelry and more will be up for grabs at this annual craft fair put on in Delray Beach at the intersection of Atlantic and 4th Avenue. Take the whole family to pick out a special item for themselves at this free event!

Miami Dolphins Season Kickoff

When: September 19

Where: Hard Rock Stadium

What: South Florida football is back! Take friends or the whole family to see the home team start the season by playing against the Buffalo Bills. Good seats are going fast, so be sure to visit Ticketmaster to secure some!

Mini Music Fest on the West Palm Beach Waterfront

When: September 23

Where: West Palm Beach 

What: Called the SunFest of the fall season, West Palm is showcasing SunFest Battle of the Bands winners at this mini music festival on the waterfront. It’s the perfect event to enjoy the cool night time weather while hearing some great music!

Taste of Oktoberfest

When: October 9-10 and October 16-17

Where: Lake Worth

What: Immerse yourself in one of Germany’s most widely celebrated traditions of Oktoberfest! Enjoy traditional German food and drink (like beer, of course!), a carnival, events and entertainment at the “best” Oktoberfest in Palm Beach!
